From your Live Science article "they were at least 272 years old, and as much as 512 years old." This range covers the estimated margin of error.
(though the oldest was probably closer to 392 years old than 512.)

Gas in the same area cost 20kr pr liter according to google right now. One liter of gasoline is ~9.1 kWh of energy. That's about 2,2kr pr kWh.
For easy calculations let's assume the charger delivers 60kW (That's a little bit more than older charging stations deliver, but a lot less than the modern ones (150-250 kW) will give you, so I'd say it's fair?) That gives a price of 2,50kr pr kWh, so you'd be right. Depending on the charger you might be even more right or very wrong.
Add in the fact that even a heavy Tesla can go 10 km on a lot less than 2kWh and it is a lot cheaper to drive electric than gas. Comparable cars would use about .4-.5 liters pr 10km, costing 4-4.5 kWh pr 10 km driven.
Bottom line is that pricing electricity pr minute makes it pretty much impossible to compare, but electric cars are still by far more energy efficient.
Charging your ecar at a commercial charging station is the most expensive way of doing it, still those are fast chargers and fill up to 80% of the battery in 30mins. That would be 150kr while you are eating your fast food, for that price you would get 7litres of gas. Which would last you maybe for 140km. 70% of the estimated range on a Tesla S is 420km.
