"Pretty Little Liars."

"The end of Dexter is the most soul destroying thing ever. So bad."

"While by no means the worst, The Office’s final season was pretty awful. The last episode was pretty good, but the season leading up to it? What a stinker."

"Roseanne, when it was all a dream."

"Sherlock (bbc version) I see no one talking about how sh#t it was in comparison to season 2"

"Lucifer. Second half of season 5 was already rocky but season 6 completely butchered the series"

"Scrubs. Season 8 had such a nice, heart-warming ending… And then they continued with the 9th season which was total bs"

"Master of None. Was so excited we were getting a new season until I made it about 10 minutes into the first episode. Why even give it the same name if you are going to create a completely different show? What a disappointment."

"That 70s Show. Eric goes from underdog to f@#king @$$hole."

"Game of Thrones

It went from being one of the greatest shows ever to one of the most infuriating, face in hands terrible shows of all time. I’ve never felt so indignant and betrayed by a TV show.

Seriously, f@#k benioff and weiss."

In 2000 there was a short-lived TV series called The Others. (You can look it up on Wikipedia or IMDb.) When the show was cancelled before the second season, they ended the series by blowing up and burning the building where the characters all gathered and met, while those characters were in the building.
The end. Go away now. Not coming back. Move along. Nothing to see here.

That's why I like Vince Gilligan. He knows how to end a show before it gets bad. I wish I could cite another example of a show writer that does that, but I can't think of one...

#2 the last season was good. you just didn't like that the mom was basically written off due to other obligations and they went from wealthy wasps... to all Republicans.

Ending a good television series is never easy... writers never know what to do because they don't want it to end, so wrapping up the loose ends and story plots either becomes epic or they just give up.
