"Breaking Bad
Such a compelling, beautifully crafted show. I was so sad when it ended."
"Black Mirror"
"Futurama
We skip the dog episode though…"
"X-Files"

"Mr. Robot! Such an amazing mindf@#k of a show. And knowing the tech things they talk about makes it even better because the writers really did their research."
"Fleabag. I can’t stress how much I would recommend this show. Even if you don’t see why on the first episode, everyone should watch it.I promise by the end you’ll be glad you did. It’s only two very short seasons.
Man I wish I could watch that over again. Especially the second season."
"Peaky Blinders"
"Fringe. It was such a great show."
"Twin Peaks. Every watch through is a wild ride. But nothing compares to that first watch."
"Community. I’d give anything to see ‘Remedial Chaos theory’ or ‘Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking’ for the first time again."
"I’m dating myself here, but M*A*S*H. Very, very funny. It’s about the Korean war, but the good thing is that you don’t have to know or even understand anything about history to laugh your @$$ off."
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

"Band of Brothers, best series ever made! I usually watch it once or twice a year at least."
"Avatar the Last Airbender"
"True Detective season 1"
"Game of Thrones
All six seasons of it."
"Firefly."
"The Good Place. The ending is one of the best endings of any show, hands down."
"Definitely LOST. I’m wondering how it would be to binge the series, but there was something about the year wait to find out what was in the hatch."
"The Wire…One of the best shows ever created."
I'd also suggest "The Americans". I like spy shows and Keri Russell, so that was a favourite.
I'd add Maniac and Californication
#16 Really kept my interest.
Warehouse 13

Falling Skies
Game of Thrones went for 8 seasons...
Wow -- you mentioned Space Above and Beyond!! I loved that show but nobody I know remembers it. I was pretty bummed when the show got cancelled after one season. (I agree with the rest of your choices, too.)
Unfortunately, too many shows finished too early or finished with unresolved cliffhangers.
Do you remember a show called The Others, about a group of paranormals who solved crimes and helped people who couldn't otherwise prevail against their attackers? When the show got canceled the show-runners blew up the building that The Others used as their headquarters, while they were in it, and the episode faded to black as the building burned. You knew that nobody could have survived that. Thanks for watching, loyal audience!
Yes at least some of the creators have enough respect for their loyal audiences and fans to end things properly, some do not.
Quite possibly the best Sci-Fi series ever to grace television.
I always wondered how the creator pitched this show: "It's a comedy set in a Nazi prison camp... now hear me out."
