Freddie was walking on a lake in Chingford (Essex, England), but even his weight of a dog was enough to fall through the thin ice. Fortunately, there was a woman nearby who didn’t hesitate and gave him a saving hand.
Champas is 5 years old already, but he still has no owners and is living at the Animal Welfare League Australia shelter for over 400 days now, desperately craving for a loving owner to cuddle with.

The chicken is completely black – and yes, you’ve understood it correctly – completely means its internal organs and all of the inner side of this bird are black too. This happens due to a phenomenon of fibromelanosis, a harmless genetic mutation that causes extra melanin to seep into the bird’s tissue while it’s still at the stage of embryo – so they’re born all black too.
She was found in a tied trash bag in Transylvania, Romania. Owners condemned her to die an awful death, with her leg broken and maggots assaulting her body with her unable to do anything about it. Fortunately, she was saved in time and rushed to Transylvania Animal Care, where she is perfectly OK now, feeling good and looking gorgeously.
