For a project called “Faces Of Century”, Czech photographer Jan Langer captured portraits of centenarians in his country to compare them with photos from their youth. And this is what effect age has on us.
As popular dolls look like they aren’t from the real world and seem to be setting unrealistic beauty standards Olga Kamenetskaya removes their makeup and paints them anew. She says that she doesn’t like when the new face of the doll is ideal and perfectly symmetrical, it makes it lifeless, so she adds some flaws that make dolls look real but no less beautiful.
Bruce Worden, the man behind a blog called Homophones, Weakly, likes those homophones (words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling) so much, as to even go and illustrate them in a quite witty fashion.
