These are some nostalgic advertisements from the 70’s and 80’s for various television shows and commercials. You will remember most of them because they were all very popular. Yep, those were the good old days.

This 16,000 square foot (1,486 sq m) 18th century inspired gracious mansion is located in Aspen, Colorado on two acres of perfect and pristine grounds that are adjacent to hundreds of acres of meadows. It is worth $37,750,000 and boasts many amenities including a billiards room, a theater room, a grotto, seven full baths, two half baths, seven bedrooms, a spa/hot tub, an exercise room, a steam room, a library, and an outdoor kitchen. What a pad!!

These are some very strange looking people who apparently love to get dressed up in fur. The costumes are weird enough but they are nothing compared to the people. Actually, they all look like they belong in a zoo.

These tattoos are a tribute to guitarist Dimebag Darrell, best known as a founding member of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan. He was shot onstage while performing with Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. 

Welcome to the sulfur mines in the crater of the Kawah Ijen volcano in East Java, Indonesia. These photos were taken by Photographer Oliver Grunewald. The volcano is 2,600 meters tall and the craters are 200 meters deep.

These are the best photos from 2010 Juggalo festival.

Meet 8 year old Deepak Kumar from India. He was born with some body parts of his parasitic twin attached to his chest. The locals think that he is the devil in a human body and call him octopus boy. His parents and volunteers saved the money for him and the extra body parts have been surgically removed.

The photos are not very pleasant to see though.

What a beautiful photo of a fantasy gaming land called Planet Calypso. That isn’t so odd or weird. Everyone games or at least knows about amazing geographic cyber space gaming lands, but the price tag of a real estate sale in this fantasy world is.

Welcome to the new Google office in Moscow, Russia. All I can say is brother you can’t hide money. The offices are elaborate and the recreational areas stunning. All in all, it looks like a great place to work.

All these business cards are very creative, unusual and user-friendly. It is a real pleasure to hold such a piece of paper with contact information in your hands, as each of these business cards clearly describes the type of activity of its owner making it fun, humorous and helpful.

It happened this way. This coal train’s support dropped down when a wheel bearing got overheated, and the train crew immediately stopped the train in compliance with the instruction. But it stopped on top of a wooden bridge. Inside this post, you can see what happened next. This is oldie of the day, but we didn’t have a post about this train before.

These are Watts Towers constructed from different materials, including steel pipes, wire mesh, pieces of porcelain, glass and objects such as bottles, bed frames and sea shells. These unusual towers were built by Sam Rodia 50 years ago. Their heights are 30, 29.5 and 16.76 m.

Sam’s structures were built without predetermined design and meaning. But they made the sense of life of Italian immigrant who spent 33 years working on them with hand tools and without special equipment. Sam was divorced. He couldn’t see his children. He worked in city’s mines and was starving. But Watts Towers have really become the most important project in this strange man’s life.

These are some hilarious Christmas photos from 1992. They are quite awkward and the people in them must have been rather embarrassed when they first saw them. Perhaps somebody in their family spiked the eggnog.
