The Stoughton Massachusetts resident makes micro-shelters in his backyard. The tiny houses are made out of shipping pallets, castoff storm windows and discarded kitchen cabinets. The largest is about 24 square feet and the smallest is 4 feet tall at its highest point. Each microhouse costs less than $200 to make and comes equipped with transparent roofing.
