These are photos of Dubai in the fog. They were taken in December 2005 from the 33rd level of the Emirates Towers. The skyscrapers are absolutely beautiful especially in the fog. Dubai is a beautiful city but the fog makes it mysterious and even more beautiful.

I built this home bar. I took an unfinshed basement and created my man cave.

Whoever lives in this house spares no expense when it comes to Halloween decorations. These photos were taken by David Lohr who is a crime writer for AOL. There are enough Halloween decorations for any ghoul.

Hello to all IziSmilers. Finally, I looked through all your photos you sent to us and another selection was done. Thank all of you for submitting your pictures; you help to make Izismile more interesting and interactive place to hang out. So, we want to continue down this path!

We also wanted to thank our beautiful female IziSmilers for their photos for the new topic Submitted Sweeties that we talked about previously.

There have been more submissions since last time, but still not enough to make a selection. So please, a little more action, we are so close to making a great first post.

Plus, from what I’ve seen we have very pretty girls on Izismile. Even centuries ago, people already "saw" UFOs and started documented it in the paintings, frescoes, illustrations etc. 

The college of William and Mary, in Williamsburg Va.,  were happy to have their copy of QBVII returned to them today.  It is finally back in the stacks after a 35 year old check out.  The book was borrowed by Pat Harkin back in 1975 and finally returned to the College Library.

These billboards are made immensely humorous with the addition of some wit by local graffiti artists. The advertising companies were setting themselves up for a fall with some of their slogans. Like my Father said, never make a flat statement.

These are some funny pictures with epic costume fails but we can give them credit for efforts.

These are some very old computer ads from Virginia Tech. Not only are the ads old, they are very funny. Some of them use sex to sell their antiquated PCs, others use humor. How did we ever get by with such inadequate equipment?

Every year a beauty pageant is held in the slum neighborhood of Korogocho, in the capital of Kenya, Nairobi. The purpose is to inspire young women to become more resourceful. Take a look at the post and meet Miss Korogocho, 2010. She’s a pretty young girl.

"Why" is the name of a wordless book written by Nicolai Popov for children. It is an effective commentary on the futility of war.

This book was recognized as the best children's books in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

"I drew this book because I think if the children understand the futility of war, see how easy it is to succumb to violence, maybe they will fight with it in the future" - said Popov.

This is a wordless, "silent" book which is the best messenger of peace, than all the big words.

The book can also be a wonderful gift not only for a child but for an adult in a sign of reconciliation and love.

The Chinese have learned to fake anything, even seaweed. 

You maybe surprised with what it is possible to clean toilets these days.

There are just some things that you have to stop and shake your head at, this happens to be one of them.  I wonder if the lawnmower manufacturer remembered to warn about mowing your hedge from a crane.

The Netherlands is a flat country. There are no mountains or rocks suitable for climbing. They had to find a way out. Their climbing tower Excalibur is the highest climbing wall in the world - 37 meters. By the way, the photos from the air were taken by a camera suspended on a kite.

Crab fishing in the Bering Sea is supposed to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. If you have watched the series on the Discovery Channel you already know that. If you haven’t seen it, these photos will convince you.
