The funny papers are how we all get our morning chuckle. Most of us grew up on comic books. The funnies are how we all get a little comic relief. The comics in this post are no different. Just one more respite in an otherwise rather dull life.

Twins Nicolas Luisetti and John Paul Olhaberry got a unique idea on how to celebrate Chile’s 200 years of Independence. They froze in the air, and spent 200 minutes “levitating” above thousands of passersby.

This 182 square foot apartment belongs to airplane interior designer Steve Sauer. Steve obviously likes everything in its place and a place for everything. It is 11’ 3” wide, by 16’ 2” deep, by 10’ 4’ tall and there is plenty of room for Steve and all of his living accoutrements.

The airshow in Shoreham, West Sussex, became a real drama for 15,000 fans. Pilot Mike Newman crashed when he was performing for the Swift Aerobatic Display Team. His glider smashed into runway, but the man managed to crawl out of the wreckage alive, but with a backbone trauma. Doctors say he would recover. For now you can view this collection of pictures featuring an unbelievable escape. This pilot was lucky to survive in such a horrible crash!

This is a handmade computer case. The whole process of building looks simply amazing, and the result is really beautiful.

The body bags in this post were given out in the Philippines as part of a promotion for diet pills. I think they were supposed to be a before and after photo to show how much weight the person had lost. All it really does is to show how ugly the body bag is.
