This pink colored lake located in Senegal is called Lake Retba or Lac Rose. Its glamour color is due to many minerals and microorganisms in the water. Women in Senegal spend up to 14 hours a day on the banks of this lake to harvest salt. Each liter of water has about 380 grams  of salt.

Hotel buses, of course, have a bathroom, but no shower. Bus-bed tours are available across Europe, Africa and Asia  since 1959. They are hosted by Rotel Tours where the word “rotel” is a portmanteau of “rolling” and “hotel”. These “beds on wheels” might not be the most comfortable hotels in the world, but they are the only hotels that can take you around the world!
