This APC Back-UPS 600 did not work, so the owner took it to a service center. The workers there disassembled the device. And guess what was wrong with it? Believe me, service center employees were caught by surprise.

Someone probably used it as a doorstop or something (without the electrical innards) and then this guy picked it up and thought it was a regular UPS.

That is a an APC battery backup used from computers or other electronics. If you have a power failure it gives you about 5 minutes of power to save files etc.

That happened to me a couple times. Don't know who broke into my house and replaced the guts of my APC backup supplier, but the rogues did it twice!!! n_recourse
