Honestly this is a fail in of itself. A sad attempt to draw humor from a fashion that the author does not understand or apparently care for. Many of these are HORRIBLY miscategorized...and I'd die at 16's feet.

i cant agree with you more blue hair, a good handful of these people are legit goths/deathrockers or whatever, and a good portion is people who tried to hard or dont really know what goth is, you want goth look into bauhaus, christian death, cinema strange etc... most of the people making comments on here dont even know their shit its sad really...

I have many friends who dress like this who have degrees, good well paid jobs and perfectly functional families, so all I have to say on behalf of those people is 'FUCK YOU' just because people are different does not mean they're dysfunctional people, you wouldn't say the same to disabled people or black people now would you? people are different and narrow minded fucks like you need to grow up and realise that. Also I saw it has already been mentioned but, the people in #4 are boyfriend and girlfriend who were beaten the shit out of for looking like that, the girl was beaten to death, no human being deserves to be treated like that not even the narrow minded twat I quoted in this comment.

Number six is some strange Emo Ham beast.

There are a few "um, wtf" ones in this group, but the Goth community does tend to assess style and beauty in a different level to mainstream ideas. Shit, I'd rather see most of this then those Dorito looking Orange bleach blonds.

Most of these do not look good. However, most all look like cosplays. So. Not even goth. Admittedly, some are obviously not, like number 1, and it's obvious they don't really have the face to pull it off.
11 has got to be some kind of cosplay. NOWHERE near goth. Far too bright.
2 is verging on KISS lookalikes. 3, the girl is pretty good, but I look at the guy and swear I think he dressed like that on a dare. XD. 4 has a rapeface, and I don't even know what to CALL 5. 6 looks like an attempt of a mixture of goth, lolita, and I don't know what else. Maybe emo? 7 isn't too horrible, but with some clockwork on the girl I'd say more steampunk than goth, tbh. Or SCA, now that I think about it. I can imagine her walking around Ren Faire. 8 looks pretty decent, and if 9 had given more of a "I hate the world" scowl vs such a weird smile, they could have pulled it off. My only problem with 10 is their hair... I feel it's too bright for anything but cosplay.
12 is definitely a Halloween costume; you can see the makeup on their faces and necks. Zombie fail, maybe? 13 isn't goth. It's a guy with a shit ton of piercings in abnormal places for most people. I don't know what to call 14, but he's not goth. Just no. 15 looks like a KISS adaptation too. 17 with a more stoic look alone could work, with black hair instead of that ginger-y red even better. 18 is pretty damn good, the guy definitely looks dark and goth-y. Not quite just goth, but still. The only problem is the girls face/hair, I feel. Other than that it's a good one. 19 is like some kind of Ozzy Osbourne look, with a steampunk hat, so it's pretty bad, and 20... Except for the spiderweb eye contacts (Which, I think, are fucking AWESOME), I would say some kind of vampire. More narrowed, evil eyes and make them, say, yellow, and it won't be such a fail. Now, though, he just looks like a vampire wannabe who can takes a shit ton of pain. Lol.

A lot of these are either idiots joking around... or cyberPunk/Punk style.. rather than goth. and some of them are actually pretty fucking hot/cool. Granted there are a few MAJOR fails in there, but majority of this list does not apply for one reason or another.
