UPD: This is Shweeb and it may be the future transport used to move around the city. It is a bike monorail pedal-powered. Yes, as in you’ll have to peddle it. It is only a concept now but Google Inc. has already invested $1 million dollars in it believing this may be transport solution for the cities.

Fat people? Yea, right.
Would you want to sit/lay down in that bubble after someone just sweated/shit/pissed/came all over the inside?
What about when it rains/hails/snows/sleets/etc.?
What about those people (like myself) that like to bike in the nude? Would they be charged with indecent exposure?

the negatives mentioned earlier are all valid concerns; but are all overlooking a simple fact-- shweeb does not have to be the only transportation in a city. it can be complimentary.
after all, not everyone is able to use a certain transportation as it is, like driving a car, riding a motorcycle, bike, or rollerblades. i mean, you go with what works for you, and that doesn't break any of the other choices.
