When this baby had to wear a helmet to correct his flat head syndrome, his parents came up with a great idea
They decided to wear helmets as well!
Otherwise known Plagiocephaly, flat head syndrome occurs when the skull plates fuse incorrectly
“He had an oversized head in the womb, and…he sleeps on that one spot,” said Jonas’s father
“He was constantly sleeping on it so it just kept getting worse”
Doctors fitted Jonas with a helmet to reshape his head, something he’ll have to wear from three to six months
His 3-year-old sister decided to wear her bike helmet in solidarity, so the rest of the family joined in!
They went viral after a cousin shared a picture of them on Twitter
It didn’t take long for people’s hearts to melt
Some people shared pictures of their own children wearing similar helmets
