This cute and moving comic by David Revoy touches a serious question of the importance of good family relationship.

You’ve probably heard of the TLC Toddler’s & Tiaras show where young girls get make up, fake hair, and all sorts of other things (like having eyebrow waxes) to participate in a kind of a beauty contest. Here are the pictures from the unusual episode of the series in which the moms of the little contestants were asked to wear the same pageant costumes and to undergo the same preparations to feel better what they are putting their girls through.

Swedesh photographer Lennart Nilsson spent 12 years of his life taking pictures of the foetus developing in the womb. These incredible photographs were taken with conventional cameras with macro lenses, an endoscope and scanning electron microscope. Nilsson used a magnification of hundreds of thousands and “worked” right in the womb. His first photo of the human foetus was taken in 1965.

Ira Brown is only 2 years old, but she is already a well-known model in the USA. Her parents have signed contracts with a couple of famous brands in children’s clothing.

This mentally retarded 12 year old Chinese boy who can’t speak was kept chained up for three years. His father explained that he was afraid that the boy would run away and get lost while he was at work.

These are some very special moment between a father and his child. It seems that kids grow up so fast these days that these times make special memories. This time spent between a father and his child is indeed very special.

You should see this 3-year-old boy. He is so young, and so super-sized that some nurseries ban him for being a "health hazard" to other children. While most average kids of this age are only about two stone, Xiao Hao’s weight is 5 times heavier. According to some medics, this child might have a growth hormone disorder. Other people believe he is just a victim of China's "Little Emperor" syndrome as parents in this country are allowed only one child. And their relatives spoil rotten babies.

Sometimes, little girls try to look just like their moms, but here, it’s rather the mothers who want their little girls to look just like them or to look more like an adult…It’s wrong in so many ways! C’mon, let the kids be kids and don’t push them to act and look like grownups, it’s pointless and ridiculous. Childhood goes already way too fast, no need to make it shorter. Plus, transforming little girls into dolls covered with makeup is just tasteless.

This is an oldie of the day, but a good one. The photo was taken in Sweden in the early 20th century and was not retouched in any way. From the first quick glance at the photo, you’ll probably see a big head between two people. Is it something paranormal or a simple illusion?

These incredible child portraits were taken by a photographer named Akval. They catch these children doing what they do best, being themselves. The clarity and attention to detail make them absolutely beautiful.

The Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado came up with an interesting project that is designed to help overweight children and their families to fight obesity. The hospital hosts a 2.5-month Shapedown Program. Its approach to weight management is no diet, only healthy food choices. Kids and their parents are taught how to make right food choices and drive against rising obesity numbers in America. Annual run/walk is also a part of this program.

This boy is amazing! Those of you who changed a car wheel before would know that even this job is not that easy. It requires skills and patience.

Pearl Carter, 72, and Phil Bailey, 26, who is her lover and her boyfriend have happy times.

Pearl Carter gave her daughter Lynette to adoption when she was 18 years old because of her very strict Catholic environment. So, Pearl never knew her daughter nor her grandson Phil whom Lynette brought up on her own. Several years ago his mother was diagnosed for brain cancer and deceased 6 month later. After that, Phil decided to find his real grandmother to get to know his mother’s family.

This kid is one of the most famous children in the world. The daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes – Suri Cruise – is a cutie who loves fashion.
