We all want our country to be safe and secure but the airport examination seems to be getting too offhand nowadays.

Waiting around in airports can prove difficult, which is why so many people have laptops, cell phones, and other devices to keep them occupied, making power outlets a coveted commodity.

When was the last time you felt like you were at home in the airport? See what this airport did to make travelers feel more comfortable.

You have likely seen the many photos of actors and singers arriving at various airports throughout the world. In this collection you can see some of the biggest names shuffling through airports as they go to their various events. The majority of them look pretty normal. This is how they dress in everyday life.

Lady Gaga

This is the world’s largest model airport. It is located in Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany. It seems to be about 1/50 scale and the attention to detail is amazing. Without something in the photos to determine its size, you would swear it is a real airport.

some cartoons to make the point. Although they may be somewhat exaggerated, they are exactly what people are afraid of.

These are some of the 1,075 photographs taken by Taryn Simon who spent 5 days last year taking pictures of cargo seized or detained from express mail and passengers entering the USA from abroad at Kennedy airport. All the photos were shot for the project “Contraband”. Some of these counterfeit and prohibited items are weird, others are just hilarious.

A Sleepbox is a neat little place where you can lie down and rest while waiting on your flight in an airport. They have everything that a passenger might need. I wonder how much they rent for and if it is by the hour or the day.

The Engrish signs in this Asian airport are hilariously funny. They often say things that have absolutely nothing to do with what needs to be said. And that's what it makes so funny.

Some advertisement companies still have good sense of humor and vivid imagination to create such clever airport ads. Many of them made me smile.
