A desert oasis for about 70000 freely thinking people, Burning Man is taking place in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert from August 27th till September 4th this year to promote community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.

Here are a few new pics from an annual gathering that is happening inside a temporary community erected  in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.
 

The annual festival was held in the Nevada desert this year and over 70 000 people gather from around the world to enjoy music, art and an eclectic mix of unique people.

Welcome to the Black Rock desert. This desert is home to the Burning Man Festival. Some very strange looking people attend the event but there is plenty to see and do plus it is a great place to express your creativity.

For those who don’t know what this festival is about: do you remember Malcolm in the middle? It the episode when they try to sneak out with Reese to the festival in the desert, which turns into a family vacation when Hal and Lois get in on it.
