The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition looks for originality and images that are creative, fresh and surprising. I think it’s the case here, those pics are truly beautiful. This is not the creation of human hands, it's Mother Nature that did a great job and created such an incredible beauty. They are simply breathtaking. Edward Burtynsky is a Canadian photographer and artist. His works are housed in over fifty museums worldwide, numerous corporate collections, and books. Burtynsky's most famous photographs are sweeping views of landscapes altered by industry: mine tailings, quarries, scrap piles. The grand, awe-inspiring beauty of his images is often in tension with the compromised environments they depict. What is impressive with his works is that he can take a picture of the consequences of industrialization on nature and make it beautiful.  Amazing and very expressive photographs of animals and nature. Some of these pictures are exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery this Friday and Saturday - others come from National Geographic. I can just say one thing - nature and all its creations are truly beautiful!  Mother Nature is always able to surprise us. Sometimes something amazing is right on the body of animals. Stunning designs created by nature itself, decorate skins of a variety of fauna representatives. Let's look at these patterns closer. You will be surprised after seeing them. But there are also mistakes made by mother nature   Nature is unpredictable and it’s the most powerful force in the world. But even if its force is destructive and scary it can be also incredibly beautiful. Let’s look at an amazing compilation of pictures after the jump.  Incredibly beautiful places. The process resembles a scene from the film "Alien"   This selection of animals is not a usual one where animals are cute and so. Here are the freaks of nature, the mutant animals:)) But some are still funny )  In a Vienna zoo, two Austrian artists Christoph Steinbrenner and Rainer Dempf have made special installations designed to attract people's attention to environmental problems. A very interesting idea and great installations called "Trouble in Paradise." Will people finally make the right conclusions? )  Another set of awesome nature pictures Very beautiful landscapes, I recommend to view.  Extraordinary series of pictures with northern and southern (polar) lights. There’s something magical and mysterious. I’m speechless when I see this beauty of nature. Now, I just need to see in real ;)  Amazingly beautiful pictures of the underwater world's nature. Great!  I watched these photos and I couldn't believe it. It's not grains, crumbs and other that they need. These carnivores need fish and meat :) A great selection. It wasn't me who collected these photos )   STOP!
