It seems to me that not only goods, but also roads can be “made in China”. This collection of pictures shows the road in Zhengzhou (central Chinas Henan Province) that paralyzed city traffic after geotextile entangled in a bus’ tire. This road doesn’t look like a high-standard all-season one now.

Taras Lesko is an incredibly talented designer from the U.S.A, who likes to create beautiful things using a computer, his own hands and paper. Taras spends months to create various elements and details for one model.

The photos in this post are the underwater creatures that inhabit the White Sea. These incredibly difficult to take photos show the invertebrates that live in this cold northern sea. They seem to thrive living in such an unfavorable environment.

This picture is maybe one of the most known on the internet. It shows a former firefighter Paul Dadge helping injured London subway passenger Davinia Turrell away from the subway station where the explosion of a suicide bomber took place on July 7th, 2005.

The left side of her face was badly injured by the "ball of fire" created from the blast.

Doctors did what hey could, and I must say, they did an excellent job.

When we see her pictures five years after the explosion, it is hard to believe that her face was that damaged.

Actress Lindsay Lohan really got balls to appear in the court with such a “message”. She broke into tears when Beverly Hills Judge Marsha Revel announced the decision. Lohan had violated judge’s probation by not coming to a couple of alcohol education classes that were imposed for a 2007 drunken driving arrest in California. As the result the actress was sentenced to a 90-day-term in jail that starts on July 20. But this is not the end of the story…

Strange and amazing deep-sea creatures were discovered by scientists during their 6-week expedition in the Atlantic Ocean. The voyage was the last of the MAR-ECO project that consisted of several biological surveys of unexplored Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

This is a unique project devoted to the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA), a non-profit organization that is trying to improve the quality of life for overweight Americans. Well-known photographer Zed Nelson once visited the party of this Association. He always thought that everything he captured with his camera would be funny and even hilarious. But after spending a week with fat people, Nelson understood that they have a kind heart and a big soul and that other people laugh at them and treat them the wrong way. NAAFA allows overweight members to have a week of “self-empowerment and support”, and in 2010 it announced the $1 thousand fashion scholarship to encourage designers to create trendy plus-size clothing. The winner will be announced on August 5-9, during 2010 NAAFA Convention.
