This unique species lives in Indonesia and is considered a bird of the elite. And you can see why. The chicken is completely black – and yes, you’ve understood it correctly – completely means its internal organs and all of the inner side of this bird are black too. This happens due to a phenomenon of fibromelanosis, a harmless genetic mutation that causes extra melanin to seep into the bird’s tissue while it’s still at the stage of embryo – so they’re born all black too.
She was found in a tied trash bag in Transylvania, Romania. Owners condemned her to die an awful death, with her leg broken and maggots assaulting her body with her unable to do anything about it. Fortunately, she was saved in time and rushed to Transylvania Animal Care, where she is perfectly OK now, feeling good and looking gorgeously.
Two friends already had two dogs and a few cats as their pets, but they still wanted more.
