Well Jan is almost over, can you believe that! Here is a collection of photos to start off the last week of the month.
Devil Did It
This is a collection of cats found on the streets, in kennels where they were waiting to be euthanized, vivariums and shelters. Love and patience can make real miracles, turning a street cat into a beautiful, happy and true pet friend.

These are hilarious and unusual public restroom signs observed in different countries around the world.
The Dogon people of Mali can fish in the sacred Lake Antogo only once a year. On the appointed day, hundreds of fishermen grab baskets and fish in a hurry, clearing the entire lake in minutes. This is an interesting and unusual ritual.
Billy Monk used to work as a nightclub bouncer for Les Catacombs Club in Cape Town in 1967. He had another undercover job as he took pictures of the nightclub revelers to sell those photos to his subjects. Many of his prints will be exhibited in spring 2011 in Woodstock. But you don’t have to wait for another month, as you can see images of people partying many years ago after the jump.
While most babies are cute these babies are the exception. Most look like some very old people and are anything but cute. They really do have a face that only a mother could love.
These are some rockets that are flying across the Russian sky. They are beautiful as they cross the Russian night sky. It is actually amazing what man has accomplished in such a short time. They make for some incredible lights in the sky.

These are some beautiful HDR photographs that were taken by photographer Jakub Kubica. As you probably already know, HDR photographs are real photographs that have been digitally enhanced. The results are nothing short of incredible.
