This abandoned Prada store with solar panels on the roof is located on a desolate highway 90 in West Texas. It was built as a piece of art and promotional stunt by Scandinavian designers Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset who spent over $80,000 on it. The solar panels generated electricity during the day and at night this boutique’s show-window shined like a rainbow. Sadly, this project didn’t survive the time, because its walls were soon painted with graffiti, windows were broken and shoes were stolen. The funniest thing is that those shoes could only suit people with disabilities, because all of them were “right” foot shoes.
