This is one of the masterpieces introduced in Tate Modern’s vast Turbine Hall (London) by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. At first glance, these are usual sunflower seeds. But if you take a closer look, you’ll see huge seeds that are not real. These are hand-painted replicas made out of porcelain. Each seed is unique, and there are one hundred million of them. Can you believe that it took 2.5 years and 1,600 people to produce this installation?

I've always been amazed by artists’ imagination. They can look at a simple vegetable and see the potential to create something of it and next thing you know, there is a simple but beautiful work of art in front of you.
This is Beemer, a pet kangaroo who lives in Australia. His best friend is a cat, loves playing football and eats toast with salad. He is a rather large pet but his owners don’t seem to mind. I wonder if he gives boxing lessons in his spare time.
Can we actually call it a case mod, if there’s no case? I dunno, but it still is quite different from what we’ve seen so far in computer modifications. This one is fixed on a wall and all cables, components and other stuff can directly be seen. It’s an interesting idea but it’s not very aesthetics…

Geometric Death Frequency is a sculpture made completely by robotics that will measure 20 feet by 50 feet once completed. It consists of 420,000 black spheres, which were created by robotics as well. The designer of the project, Federico Diaz, developed this process with pure data and algorithms based on particle physics. This very small apartment is located on Piazza di Sant’ Ignazio in Rome, an amazing square in the heart of the capital and is overlooked by a huge Renaissance Church. The beautiful view behind it is Palazzo Grazioli, which is a mansion that is rented by the Italian prime minister. The apartment is 55 sq. ft., costs $70,000, and has a single floor, single bath, single window apartment and a ladder that leads to a platform containing a single bed.
Even though this is Rome, it is still crazy to pay such money for 5 square meters.
