Decades after he moved from Ireland to Australia, a photographer Keith Woods came back to his hometown. He had his old photos with him, so he decided to visit all those places from the old pictures and compare them to the modern looks. This photo collection is really unique. I love the idea!
![]() These images are about the life in concentration camps drawn by people who survived it but spent there one of the most precious periods of time – their childhood. ![]() We posted the entry about childhood fears made by Joshua Hoffine which do look very realistic and scare not only children but adults too. Anyways, in today’s selection, we have the pictures of the making of three fears: DEVIL, BABYSITTER and LADY BATHORY. The latter made me think of Dexter :) ![]() American horror photographer Joshua Hoffine has created images of his worst childhood fears and it’s very well done. The good classics are depicted here like the killer clown, the monster under the bed or the stairs…etc. I let you discover his great scary works after the jump )) ![]() 90’s were the best decade for me for the simple fact that I grew up in this period being born in the 80’s. Even today I find that the best movies, games and pretty much everything were from the 90’s. Nostalgia… So if you’re a kid of the 90’s, I’m sure you will recognize all this stuff... ![]() At first glance, it is a joyful little girl, but she lives alone with her grandmother in precarious conditions. It is always impressive when such children don’t complain and try to stay happy living in such conditions. ![]() I wish I had one in my childhood a long time ago ![]() This week we had lots of news from China. The childhood is difficult. No toys, no fun. Only work, work and work. Poor children. But c’est la vie. ![]() This book is for children. But I don’t really know if it’s should be read by children. The story it tells is horrible and at the same time instructive. Maybe parents, who don’t pay enough attention to their children, should read it first. ![]() Do you remember your childhood? Sometimes it happened when you asked your mom to buy you a toy that you wanted so bad and she said "no", so all of a sudden all your dreams were broken. Well, look at those little Chinese children and say yourself that your childhood was not so bad ;)) ![]() |
