Seriously people, stop doing that! It’s stupid and it’s not sexy!! Though, they’re a lot of sexy girls in there… ;))  With Photoshop, you can do incredible things! Here for example, take a photo and remove some details - make them invisible. And it is a real bomb. Take a look.   Here is an interesting collection of black and white pictures of criminals taken during the early 20th century (1900-1919) in Chicago. It was all just before Al Capone and Johnny Torrio built their criminal empire.  The ocean hosts some wonderful forms of life,. And here is a glimpse of it thanks to these beautiful photos. Don’t miss it!  A girl wanted to buy fur for the coming winter so she looked on eBay and here is what she found among other articles. What the owner said: “Fabulous high quality fox fur. Very luxurious. Has tail and paws. Unfortunately, there’s one small defect – one missing eye, but it can be easily replaced. Take a look”. Watch the pics of this special fox fur after the jump and how some ‘photoshoppers’ had fun in modifying it. That’s something!  That’s an animal you don’t want to be next to! Look at its teeth! That’s funny though because the animal in question is kinda cute and doesn’t seem dangerous at first sight… More incredible pics await you inside the post as well as the answer to the title’s question.  The title sums it up pretty well, you will see here pictures that are famous or not, but which are all interesting. Each of them comes with a very interesting story, so take some time reading it!  Cold War on the Court The U.S. team came to the final having won every game in Olympic play for the past 36 years. But the Soviet Union’s team surprised the Americans with an aggressive offense in the 1972 Munich Games. With six seconds left, the USSR was clinging to a one-point lead when American Doug Collins was deliberately fouled. Collins sank both of his free throws, giving the US. its first lead, 50-49, with three seconds left. The Soviets failed to score, time ran out and the Americans erupted in celebration. But Soviet coach Vladimir Kondrashkin claimed he had called a time-out that was ignored, and Britain’s R. Williams Jones, the Secretary-General of the International Amateur Basketball Federation, ordered the clock set back by three seconds. When play resumed, Soviet star Sasha Belov pushed past two U.S. defenders to sink the winning basket... Those are the shortlisted entries in the ‘This is Britain’ category of a recent photo contest of Digital Camera Photographer of the Year. It’s a very interesting collection of pics depicting life in general and things you can observe everyday. We made another post about Photos from Life. Take a look on this post too.  Those pictures are just wow! Check them out…  You will never guess what inspired the creators of the famous videogame?  We often see photos of animals taken in the wild or in zoos but it’s not often that you can see them on white backgrounds! A Belgian team named Life On White and led by Eric Isselée has taken “nearly 10,000 images of around 480 different animal species in an attempt to create the largest collection of animals photographed in front of a white background by a single photographer.” You can purchase those pics online; parts of the benefits go to organisations that deal with the protection of animals.  This is another great selection of HDR photos. This is really an interesting technique, those photos are surrealistic. They are big enough to use them as wallpapers, so if you want to put some color on your desktop, feel free to click on a pic inside the post to enlarge it and save it.  The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition looks for originality and images that are creative, fresh and surprising. I think it’s the case here, those pics are truly beautiful.  Another set of beautiful macro pictures about nature and animals, mostly insects. Very interesting to see, so take a look!  When you look at this image, you see nothing funny. A girl climbing a sand hill… But if you have a little of imagination, humor, and Photoshop, you get an amazing and funny photomontage. This is one of the best in some time, believe me. I'm still smiling )) Look, you won’t regret it.  Such cool shots never pass by photoshoppers. As usual, they decided to make fun of this picture and to make it even funnier. And they did their job just great.   Photograph Per-Anders Pettersson travelled on the Chinese part of the Silk Road. It was a 3200-kilometer journey from Xian to Kashgar that took 3 weeks by train, bus, plane, 4x4… He did that experience to describe the life along the Silk Road in today’s China. Have a look, it’s interesting to see.  Extreme Therapy is a photo project of the photograph Brent Stirton about adaptive sports rehabilitation for severely injured U.S. soldiers. Here you can see pictures that depict people who don’t give up despite the tragedy they are going through. Touching and kinda inspiring. Take a look!  Those photos are truly beautiful. They were taken by the photograph Kristina Kotarski who made an excellent job. Hit the jump to look at the whole selection.  In 1994, Angelina Jolie was only 19 years old and she was not famous yet. She was not famous but damn, she was very cute! More than today in my opinion…  I don’t know what crossed the mind of parents who did this, but it’s silly! I mean, there’s no need to retouch photos of children, they’re just children! If they want dolls, they can buy some… One other funny thing, those photos have been retouched by “professionals”… I don’t know what is worse, the child beauty pageant we talked abut this summer or those creepy Photoshopped pictures of children?  Incredibly beautiful artistic photos in black and white. These pictures give the feeling of comfort and harmony…  And what would happen if the Internet completely disappeared? It would be a global catastrophe and a real nightmare, many of you might think. And you're partly right. Photoshoppers gave the real answer to this question and they did it perfectly well. He covered in Afghanistan the trip of Angelina Jolie as UNHCR goodwill ambassador (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). Take a look at his good work inside the post.  Well, technically those are photos of Pripyat, the city where the Chernobyl power plant is situated and the site of Chernobyl disaster in 1986.    STOP!
