Recently, a strange robot could have been seen on the streets of a Japanese city. Everything was fine, a crowd of curious children started to gather around the robot and then… OMG! Well, see for yourself.  Very cute pictures of fathers with their children. It is something usual to see a mother with her child on a picture, but when you see a father so loving and caring, it is someway even cuter. And sometimes, when they play with their children, they also remind ‘big kids’ themselves :)  Positive emotion of the day. A selection with little tots :))  These photos were taken on the streets of Ukraine by photographer David Gillanders. There are no words to describe all this, just very sorry for children whom even the state doesn’t care about.  I don’t know what crossed the mind of parents who did this, but it’s silly! I mean, there’s no need to retouch photos of children, they’re just children! If they want dolls, they can buy some… One other funny thing, those photos have been retouched by “professionals”… I don’t know what is worse, the child beauty pageant we talked abut this summer or those creepy Photoshopped pictures of children?  Personally, I strongly believe that children should have a proper childhood. Of course, it is normal to gradually accustom them to work, but it doesn’t mean that they should work as adults. But in China, many believe the contrary and here you have two examples.  Some children look a lot like their parents. Let’s see if it’s the case with those celebrities: Blythe Danner and her daughter Gwyneth Paltrow  The Ladybird ‘easy reading’ Book of the Policeman is a twisted adaptation from a series of kids books about 'People at Work' – sort of amusing and clever facts about policemen… but not for children.  This is the female penitentiary Santa Martha Acatitla in Mexico D.F. About 50 children live together with their imprisoned mothers. Normally, the children are taken away when they turn 6. Sometimes the penitentiary reminds a school with children running around. But when children are not present, some serious clashes can appear between inmates. From one hand, it is a good thing that children stay with their mothers, it helps them to get to know them but from the other hand, prison is not a place for a child and as for me, 6 years of life is too long for a baby.  No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Chinese schoolchildren of 10 years have to wash the windows outside the building without any security equipment, standing on a windowsill of 10 cm! It is considered that it teaches children will power and courage. O-o-kay...  KidZania is a Mexican chain of family entertainment centers currently operating in 6 locations. Every KidZania is themed as a child-sized replica of a real city, including buildings, shops and theaters, as well as vehicles and pedestrians moving along its streets. In this city, children, aged 2 through 14, learn about the adult world, the value of money and work, by experiencing up to 70 different professions. Every “professional” activity lasts 30 minutes and parents don’t have the right to interrupt or to interfere in any other manner while their offspring is “working”. It proofed to be so successful that the other Kidzanias appeared throughout the world. Tokyo was the third city to create a replica city for children in October 2006. The first year of operations had 905,000 visitors, and has been keeping steady. So here are pictures from the Japanese KidZania!  Joao and Rosemere Fernandes de Andrade are dark-skinned Afro-Brazilians, however, three of their five children are albinos! Scientists are quite stunned because both parents are black and 2 of their children are black too. They say it’s a really rare case. Nature can be so tricky!  A horrible place  Whoever made this playground has big problems with the imagination or simply cannot do things properly.  Do you remember the post about parents who walk their kids on a leash? So, it can go even further, a company that produce special cages for children has already been created and they claim that the confinement in a cage disciplines and protects the child. Personally, I am against such upbringing. After the break, look at a selection of children behind bars (although some of them got there voluntarily and apparently they love it). What do you think about it?  Another compilation of poor children to whom the phrase "I HATE MY PARENTS" can become a slogan ;) Not for everyone, of course, but for many of them. You can view the first part HERE.  I think it is right when tobacco advertising is banned and smoking allowed only in designated places. Many children start smoking at a very early age, unaware of the harm they cause themselves and some, for their careless parents’ joy, are posing with a cigarette in their mouth (and sometimes with a beer in their hands). Sad  . In the Indian slums you will see many more smiling people than in the prosperous business districts of other cities around the world. This is despite the fact that most people live below the poverty line. Something to think about.  I see more and more pictures with kids with beer bottles in their hands. It’s like a new trend on the web. It's true the photos are fun, who knows, maybe one day we will see the photos with the same children in the series ‘before and after’ - before I had one beer bottle just for fun and now I have lots of them and I’m constantly drunk   An excellent advertising about children's safety. Everything is simple and ingenious. From my part, the advertisers get 5 out 5 for their creative work.  These are the first fails of young children. Very funny compilation, I recommend! Kids can be funny too   Personally, I think that such activities should be prohibited. Just look what they did with little pretty girls. After watching the video, it made me even sadder for the world we’re living in. But it is even more difficult to understand the girls’ parents, who’d like to this to their children…  It seems that this is the only place to play for these children. This is their “playground” in their apartment. It breaks my heart only by looking at these pictures   Many children in China have to work from their early childhood. And this small group of children performs on the streets. They prepare all the shows themselves and use all the stuff they can find for their performances. The kids don’t work for money but only for food.  These small children didn’t really have a chance from the beginning. And whoever makes THIS to them is clearly not a human but a real scumbag. Pictures are not for the faint-hearted, don’t go see the post if you don’t want to spoil your mood.  It's been a long time since I received so many positive emotions.
