After the jump let’s look at Droste effect images. Just don’t break your eyes or don’t fall into a hypnotic state ![]() 3D art is cool. Some people are really talented and this collection of 3D pics is more than a proof. Enjoy! ![]() Interesting images and mathematics put up together that give us a notion of what it would be like if it was possible to print the internet. To be honest, I can’t imagine it in my mind, it’s like to imagine the endless universe. You just keep on imagining, imagining till you get old ;)) If you have a pet, then these instructions are good to go. For more images with instruction, go inside the post. ![]() Only two images used to create this. Take a look! ![]() Tilt-shift is very popular nowadays and can be found easily on the Internet. But today, you will be able to compare how different tilt shift photographs are from the same but real images. Of course, the difference is great. ![]() Here is the description of the site: “Logo.Hallucination proposes to use technologies of recognition of images in order to detect subliminal forms of logos or emblems, hidden (generally involuntarily) in the visual environment or in the whole of the images of the Internet. The found images will be accessible in a weblog, proposing a comparison between the original on the one hand and, on the other hand, the brand and its logo.” I must say that the results are interesting, some comparisons are funny but the majority, if not all, are really twisted. I would not have even seen a single brand (its logo) by myself, even if I had searched for days… You will find more info on the author’s website. ![]() An excellent series of images depicting the last years of life of the super heroes. It’s true that we usually don’t imagine them being old. Now we can see the way they’d look :) ![]() In 2005, as an example of using image morphing methodology to study the effects of averageness, imaging researcher Pierre Tourigny created a composite of about 30 faces to find out the current standard of good looks on the Internet. On the popular Hot or Not web site, people rate others’ attractiveness on a scale of 1 to 10. To make this hot or not pallate of morphed images, photos from the site were sorted by rank and used SquirlzMorph to create multi-morph composites from them. So, here you see composite images of female faces, grouped by differing "hotness" levels, as rated on hotornot.com. ![]() These are amazing 3D art works from CGsociety. Some of them are too realistic almost no way to tell that it is computer graphics. ![]() Excellent illustrations that clearly show a simple truth - things look somewhat different when we are drunk. ![]() The Something Awful Forum Goons have created funny symmetrical images in a grotesque way. “Their mirrors reflect something beyond our reality”. ![]() For those who don’t know – to see the full size image, click on it. ![]() Let’s train sight. Several relaxing minutes are guaranteed ;) ![]() Look closely at your cat’s habits and behavior or you may regret it… ![]() People very often see (or want to see) something that remind them Jesus, Virgin Mary and other saints. They see such images on a piece of bread, on a wall, on a tree etc. All this stuff is photographed and then put on sites. I gathered a good collection of it. Do you see something? ![]() Great collection of images, some are very hilarious and very true too ![]() Today we will see how funny and original illustrations in 3D Max can be created. The characters seem so alive that it gives impression that they would come off the screen )) ![]() You think what you look at is a real tree. I should disappoint you. For those who don’t know. It is a massive fourteen story (145 ft) tall artificial tree that has been the icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom since it opened on April 22, 1998. Engineered from a refitted Oil platform, it is located in the center of the park. On the exterior of it are carved images of 325 animals. Inside the Tree of Life is ‘It's Tough to be a Bug!’, a 3-D film hosted by Flick, from ‘A Bug's Life’. It is similar to the tree of Rafiki from The Lion King, though on a much larger scale. There is a hidden Mickey on this tree. ![]() |
