Here are 30 of the most talked-about movies of the year, ranked by their critical scores on Rotten Tomatoes. Their scores can change at any time, though.

This list was made of the highest-grossing movies from each year using Box Office Mojo and The Numbers. The numbers were adjusted for inflation and international box office figures were used where they became available (starting in 1975). A few years in the 1930s are missing because of a lack of data.
