At 1 AM on April 26th, 1986, a power surge in reactor four of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine, led to a series of huge explosions. Recently HBO released a mini-series called “Chernobyl” and it’s already being called one of the greatest shows of recent years.

It’s hard to imagine what actually goes on during the making of a film but for the actors and film crew, it is quite a different picture than what we see in the final edit.

The original movie was released 31 years ago and it is quite fun to see what the cast look like today.
